March 2 Program: Abbey Norris - Seed Arts Makes The Neighborhood Beautiful!

03/02/2010 - 07:20
03/02/2010 - 08:30

Seed Arts, located in that cute little Power Station building just South of Columbia City, has propelled the local arts community for decades. On March 2 we will get a behind-the-scenes peek at their 2010 activities, including the installation of a new sound and light booth at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center, the launch of new guest exhibits at the Columbia City Gallery, and a preview of new public art coming to your neighborhood!

Abbey Norris is the Public Art Manager and Annual Fund Coordinator for SEEDArts, a program of SouthEast Effective Development. In the past four years, Abbey has worked with professional artists, community groups and youth to design, fabricate and install more than 30 public art projects in Southeast Seattle.
