How will the State flex its programs, staff, budgets in the face of a severe decline in revenue? Sen. Kline is seeking community input. What programs are most important to you? What programs would you love to see cut? From state colleges to state penitentiaries, you can kick-in your ideas about the best solutions.

Rainier Valley Rotary meets at Kallaloo, 3820 South Ferdinand Street, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Guests may attend twice for free, then $10.

Doesn't the tone of the news about developments in Palestine and Israel sound like a sour symphony? How is there a a way out? Who benefits from the ongoing conflict? How can real peace begin? Dorothy Drummond transcends the hopelessness with perspectives on the relation of the land to the religions. Religions do change as people's understandings of their profound meanings evolve, and we can expect such evolution and help it.

1) Vocational Service
2) Club Service
3) Community Service
4) International Service
The second area, Club Service, is the organizational glue that keeps the club running, tallys-up the finances, invests in the future leadership of the club. If you wish to learn how to be a better leader, getting involved in planning and running club activities is a chance to learn, try, evaluate new techniques.
